A place of legend!

Two tiny creatures are said to keep watch over Palma’s passers-by as they walk past Palma City Hall in Plaça Cort. Their names are Lizard and Snail, but in this case they are not too scary. They are two bas-reliefs of a lizard and snail on the façade, next to a door. They are said to be the signatures of the people responsible for building the City Hall in 1675: Jaume Caragol, master labourer, and Francesc Dragó, master sculptor.
