A place of legend!

Close to the peak of Alaró Castle, there is another mountain crowned by S’Alcadena peak. Between both of them, on hot humid days, tattered clouds gather, swiftly appearing and disappearing. According to legend, this is because they are magical mountains and the meeting point for groups of witches and their covens. To celebrate the summer solstice, on Saint John’s Night, they dance, balancing on a tightrope between the two peaks. They dance like mad creatures, pulling faces until the sun comes up.
