A place of legend!

In medieval times, the heads of those who had been executed were hung from one tower of Almudaina Palace called Torre dels Caps. It was a terrible sight. This was the case, for instance, of Treufoc the bandit and young nobleman Jeroni Pau Cavalleria, the two murderers of Jaume Joan de Berga, a high court judge. However, the tower that you can see today is not the original one but a reconstruction from the early 20th century by architect Guillem Reynés, inspired by a similar one at Perpignan Castle.
