A place of legend!

In Palma’s Calatrava district, there is a street called Torre de l’Amor (Tower of Love Street), in memory of the love that could not be between Mossé Faquim, a Jew, and Magaluf Natjar’s wife.  As it was a love that was so impossible, Mossé built a very high tower onto his house to gaze at his beloved from the rooms of his home. Obviously, Magaluf complained to King Peter 4th, who ordered Mossé to lower the tower by twelve palms.
