A place of legend!

Palma’s old mansions feature all kinds of surprises for passers-by. In Carrer Feliu, a mansion called Can Pavesi or Can Belloto can be found, also known as the House of the Gargoyles, because its façade is full of misshapen faces that gaze out at pedestrians. One of these gargoyles cheekily sticks out its tongue. It bears the inscription Eundo, which means “to he or she who passes by!”. That is, to you if you look at it.
