A place of legend!

Back then when people travelled by cart or on foot, the townsfolk of Andratx found it quite hard to get to Palma. If they set off in the morning, they had the sun in their eyes, and when they returned in the afternoon, it was once again in their eyes. They were truly fed up of the problem and they asked a lawyer for advice. “How ridiculous,” the lawyer thought. The advice he gave them was to go to Palma in the afternoon instead of the morning and to wait until the next day to return. The people of Andratx found that it worked. They didn’t know how, but now with the change of timetable, the sun was on their back and the journey was much easier.
