La Santíssima Trinitat hermitage is in the north of the Tramuntana mountains, hidden in a holm oak wood with magnificent views. It was founded by a resident of Alaró in 1648 on the ruins of an earlier hermitage. The current building is mainly an 18th century one. It is the only hermitage on the island occupied by hermits.
