In 1971, Palma City Council commissioned sculptor Remígia Caubet with a work to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of writer Miquel Costa i Llobera. The sculpture portrays Nuredduna, a prehistoric Majorcan priestess who Costa transformed into a literary figure. To make the figure of the young woman with a harp, the artist used her own daughter Guillermina as a model.
