Son Negre co-educational school was built for the inhabitants of this village in Felanitx, since the school had been provisionally located in Can Ramonet since 1924. The building was designed by Guillem Forteza and paid for by local residents, the State and the Town Council. It operated until 1974. The main façade stands out for the attic floor, supported by two big columns.
