According to legend...

The Austro-Hungarian prince was the heir to some of Europe’s greatest riches. In Majorca, everyone knew him by the nickname “the Archduke”. He had an inquiring mind, full of keen intellectual and artistic concerns. He was also enamoured of the Mediterranean Sea and, in particular, a place that became his home: S’Estaca in Valldemossa. He loved the scenery and walking down its slopes to Na Foradada rock. 

One hot morning, after his stroll, the Archduke was in a rush to get home. On the way, he saw a cart driver. The cart had overturned, the mule had slipped, and the cargo of trunks had scattered all over the place...
