Statue of a Recumbent Saint Probus
Mancor de la Vall

In 1847, the Marquis of Palmer donated a group of relics found in the catacombs of the Vía Tiburtina in Rome relating to the martyr known as Saint Probus. With them, sculptor Miquel Torres made a sculpture of a recumbent figure carrying a palm branch in his hand, an object used to characterize martyrs.
